This year has been one for the books. We shot more weddings than we ever have, John got his masters in Finance, and we moved across the freaking country WITH a dog.
It dawned on me that I haven’t blogged one single wedding from 2015. In fact, I still have 2014 weddings that need to be blogged. I guess when your first priority is getting the images back to your couples, blogging kind of becomes an afterthought.
2015 was amazing. I feel like we worked harder this year than we ever have. There were times we were so exhausted, we couldn’t even have told you what day it was, but as they say “You can sleep when you’re dead.”
We photographed family sessions, maternity sessions, engagements, live births, weddings, proposals, and so much more. We had cameras in our hands more times than we didn’t, and that lifestyle is A-OK with us. We collect memories, and when we look back at them, we can’t help but feel nostalgic. Also, honored. When you break it down, it’s actually an insane thought. People invite us to spend the most intimate day of their lives with them. They trust us with their memories. They trust us in capturing what they see, and even what they don’t see. And at the end of the night, they hug us and say thank you. They treat us like family and include us in their most special day. We still shake our heads over that concept.
Less talky more walky.
Here is our 2015 year in review [in no particular order]
