Amanda and Brian’s Heartwood Hall session was EPIC. You’ll see what I mean below. We absolutely adore these babes, and cannot believe their wedding at Cedar Hall will be here in just a few days!
We actually hadn’t met these cuties until their engagement session, but it didn’t take long at all to feel like we had known them for years. That’s one of our favorite things about Amanda and Brian, they are so personable. They’re truly interested in getting to know you, and have such a warm energy about them. Brian is a Memphis Police Officer. He definitely has the “protector” vibe you’d expect, while still being so kind, patient, and friendly. Amanda called him “her prince” more than once, it was absolutely adorable.
Amanda and Brian actually met at the bar where Amanda bartends. While you may be quick to assume that Brian initiated the conversation, Amanda tells a different story:
“As cliche as it sounds, we met in the bar I work at. It wasnt your typical guy-hits-on-the-bartender…. I actually had to hit on him. He always came in with the guys after work and I waited and waited for him to initiate a conversation but I got tired of waiting and decided I was going to make the first move. The rest is history. We have been together since October 28, 2014 but it feels like it’s been so much longer because we have been so connected from the very beginning.“
Their connection is completely wild, in the BEST way possible. I feel like a broken record when I say that because I say it so often. To be honest, our couples are all incredible. Their investment in each other always blows our minds, and Amanda and Brian are NO different! Evidence of this is when I asked Amanda and Brian about their first date:
“Our first date was an Eric Church concert, which was basically my dream date. I was so nervous, it almost didnt happen. We sang and danced the night away. I couldn’t tell you a single thing we talked about that night, I just remember it was perfect.”
I know, right?! As if you need ANYMORE proof these two are perfect, I will leave you with what these guys said they love most about each other:
Amanda’s response: “I could go on for days, it’s so hard to pick one. He makes me smile when I want to cry and makes my life so full of love. I’ve imagined my whole life what my “prince” would be like and he’s so much more than I ever thought to ask for. You’d never know it from his tough exterior, but he’s the kindest, sweetest man I’ve ever known. Plus, he makes me coffee every morning and loves our dog just as much as I do. How much better can it get?”
Brian’s response: “There are so many things I love about her. My favorite thing about her is how she taught me what love is and loves me unconditionally. She puts up with me through all the terrible nights at work. I can always talk to her about anything that happens and she helps me through it.”
Because I know everyone is going to wonder who the adorable dog show stopper is, her name is Milah. She was so well behaved, and did incredible with these photos!
