Annesdale Mansion Wedding – Memphis Wedding Photographer [Katie + Craig]

As if Annesdale Mansion could be any more dreamy, just add Katie and Craig. It would be absolutely impossible to have forgotten the babest of all the babes, Katie and Craig. Remember their warm and sunny engagement session?

We had far too much fun with these guys and absolutely couldn’t wait for their wedding that happened this past May at Annesdale Mansion. The day before Katie and Craig’s wedding, Memphis encountered a pretty nasty storm. 100+ year old trees were horizontal blocking main intersections and a lot of Memphis was without power for days. By the Grace of God himself, Annesdale had power. The wonderful staff there was so quick and helpful with picking up the few limbs that had fallen. It was nothing short of a miracle!

We had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Katherine Benson of Bella Baxter Wedding and Events. Katherine is an actual goddess at what she does. Because of her, Katie and Craig’s wedding went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend her enough. Katie had quite the all star vendor lineup that we feel so honored to have been included in. Kasey Acuff did Katie’s makeup, and Katie looked so timeless and regal. Allison Becksfort absolutely slayed Katie’s loose romantic curl request. Katie swooned Craig (and literally everyone else) in her Pnina Tornai gown. She purchased her gorgeous dress from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. Holliday Flowers did an incredible job on Katie and Craig’s florals. From the stunning chuppah, to the bouquets and boutonnieres, all of K+C’s guests were absolutely in awe of it all.

Katie’s bridesmaids wore a pale pink chiffon gown that was so perfect for a May wedding. Paired with their blush florals, the bridal party looked impeccable. The tallis (or shaw) that was used during Katie and Craig’s ceremony was Craig’s grandfathers, and extremely sentimental to him. We loved how intentional both Katie and Craig were with their wedding priorities. Katie and Craig’s reception was at The Peabody here in Memphis in the Continental and Louis IXV room. The Peabody is actually where Katie’s grandparents were married. These newlyweds had a champagne tower that made such a statement, and one of the best bands we’ve ever heard. Atlanta Rhythm and Groove did not disappoint. At one point, they grabbed the happy couple and their bridal party on stage, and everyone was beyond entertained. Katie and Craig hired The Film Poets as their videographer, and it was an honor to work alongside such talented individuals.

Throughout the years, we’ve noticed on wedding days, some couples to spend a lot of time together. We realize the day has a lot of moving parts, and sometimes their is so much going on our couples can’t enjoy themselves together. This was NOT the case with Katie and Craig. They were full smiles ALL day, and never left each other’s sides. I feel like their strong knit families gave them such good loving examples, that K + C would know no other way to be. They speak kindly to one another, they’re affectionate and intentional with their decisions, and they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. It’s just completely natural between these lovebirds, which is how it should be.

Since Katie and Craig’s wedding, John and I have absolutely loved following along on ALL of their adventures. Katie and Craig moved all the way across the country right after their wedding, and are always off doing the most incredible things together. Whether it’s trying a new fun restaurant, or taking a long hike, we feel like we are Katie and Craig’s biggest cheerleaders, and we forever will be!

Katie and Craig, THANK YOU so much for allowing us this honor. We hope you guys enjoying reliving this most precious day!
