Remember these little love birds?!
Can you believe that they were married almost exactly a year ago?!? And hoooorayyyy for finally having time to blog this gorgeous wedding, better late than never, right?
Despite the gorgeous blooms on the trees reminding us Spring was upon us, it actually SNOWED on Joyce and Quentin’s wedding day. Yes, SNOWED. I sat there wondering how the HECK I was going to be able to convince Joyce to bare the cold with me for portraits, but sweet Joyce needed NO convincing. She is just the best. I actually don’t even remember hearing Joyce complain about the temperature EVER. Like, ever ever. I’m sure she remembers me saying I was cold though, because I’m never NOT cold, take that double negative, grammar freaks!
One of my favorite memories from the day was Joyce and Quentin’s first look. It was so quiet and intimate. The way they love each other really is special. They respect each other and are both so very considerate of each other’s needs. I do remember hearing Quentin ask a few different times if Joyce wanted his jacket. I don’t blame her for not wanting to cover up her gorgeous gown from The Barefoot Bride.
The day ran so smoothly thanks to the very best WED Memphis, which makes a photographer’s job basically effortless! We got to shoot along side our favorites VMWeddings Studio, and gawk at the stunning florals done by none other than Deedra Stone Designs. The Brooks Museum really is a perfect wedding venue, I’d shoot their 1,000 times if I could. And don’t even get me started on Joyce’s makeup…. You already know, Kasey Acuff always delivers!
OK, OK, enough from chatty Cathy! Enjoy reminiscing, #QandLiu. And thank you so much, Joyce and Quentin for giving us the honor to document such a special event! We feel thankful and honored!
