Believe it or not, Kaitlin and Thomas actually got married LAST weekend. If you know anything about a photographer’s life, blogging sometimes gets put on the back-burner with all of the weddings, engagement sessions, meetings, emails, scheduling, etc. Delivering images to our couples is our main priority, so blogging sometimes fades to the background. You know what they say though? Better late than never, so I am looking at this as a glass half full approach =]
Kaitlin had mentioned how much she loved the whole rustic vibe for her engagement session since their wedding was in a church and the reception was indoors. We knew just the place…. so we thought.
The day before the session, the field I often use and love was mowed ALLLLLLLL the way down. I nearly had a panic attack but John and I hopped right into the car and started looking. (Kaitlin and Thomas didn’t even know this, and I am so glad they didn’t.) We ended up fining a field that was even more gorgeous and the light poured in and looked extra Heavenly.
Kaitlin warned me Thomas wasn’t a huge fan of having his photo taken, but he was a total trooper and played his part so well. Thanks, Thomas!
Kaitlin and Thomas started out in their casual outfit, and ended in the field with their dressier outfit. I basically just want to own everything Kaitlin wears. Not only is Kaitlin extremely stylish, she’s also extremely intelligent. She’s a nurse at LeBonheur, here in Memphis, TN. She’s extremely selfless and wonderful at her job. (On her wedding day she told me about an E.R. story that nearly brought me to my knees, but she was able to keep calm and get the job done, like the true professional she is.) John and I are so thankful we got to meet Kaitlin and Thomas and cannot wait to share their wedding with you all!
xoxo
