The first time I met Katharine was at a Starbucks with her GORGEOUS mother.
They both were beyond polite, simply stunning, and ecstatic about wedding planning. I remember thinking, I need to book this girl. I want to shoot her wedding. Her energy was extremely contagious, and I loved that about her. She told us all about Logan, and how he “loved” having his photo taken, as all boys do. Not.
We tried several times to do these engagement photos in Oxford. I think we rescheduled a handful of times due to rain. I remember thinking it was never going to be sunny. I’m sure Katharine was thinking the same thing. Finally, on the day of these engagements, it was raining in Oxford, but not in Memphis. Instead of rescheduling again, Katharine and Logan decided to do them on Logan’s grandparent’s property (who are every bit just as adorable as Katharine and Logan.) They welcomed us into their home with open arms, and lets us wander around. We got to document this special time in Katharine and Logan’s life underneath the same trees Logan used to climb. I just adored that concept.
Katharine and Logan are tying the Knot at Spring Creek Ranch, one of our favorite venues.
Katharine and Logan, thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of this special time in your lives. You guys totally rule.
We cannot wait for April.
