How do I ever start this post?
We count our bountiful blessings and thank God for all of the grand adventures we’ve had the opportunity of taking part in thanks to our passion and profession. We’ve traveled North, South, East, and West to capture the stories of individuals who are just as passionate about love as we are. We’ve shot with our toes in the sand in the tropical Dominican Republic all the way to the tip top of the FedEx Forum rooftop (as we clasped our cameras with clammy hands). We witnessed a miracle once, when I (Kelly) got to document a live birth, and have had fun passes that allowed us to walk on college stadium football fields. All of those things are SO incredible, and we feel so blessed we’re allowed to do what we do, but let me tell you what else is SUCH an honor and a blessing: Documenting your best friend’s wedding:
Remember Nathalia and Gene? Our edgy couple that were ‘clients’ turned friends? What on earth would we do without them? We come in contact with so many wonderful people, and Nathalia and Gene definitely slide RIGHT into that category. It’s times like these, when I look back and can see part of God’s plan. It’s like we were supposed to meet this inspiring couple ALL along. We often get to hang out with these love birds, and they always make us feel SO very special. We never feel rushed when we’re with them, and in this day and age, everyone (including ourselves) is always in a hurry, with their busy agendas. Not Nathalia and Gene, they’re so loyal to the ones they love, and we know we’re lucky to know them.
So what exactly happens when an edgy Indonesian princess crosses paths with a tattooed, charming Italian? A legendary life, that’s what happens. Nathalia and Gene got married at Heartwood Hall in Piperton, Tennessee. It was the perfect amount of twang to their Spring Wedding. Nathalia and Gene, we love you both so very much and we’re so thankful to call you friends.
We hope you enjoy these!
xoxo

Emily - I don’t think there are enough words to describe the amount of emotion you capture within your pictures! ALL of those were absolutely beautiful! I started to cry as I scrolled through the ceremony pictures. It was as if I was there too! So so stunning! 🙂
