Two of everyone’s favorites finally tied the knot. Remember Samantha and Devon’s urban engagement session? It still goes down as one of our very favorite engagement sessions we’ve ever done. As I mentioned in the last post about Samantha and Devon, these two have chemistry like you would not believe. They brought that same amazing chemistry along with them on their wedding day, and it’s completely obvious these two are soulmates.
Sam and Devon got married at Acre, a gorgeous restaurant here in Memphis, Tennessee. It was the most perfect location for Samantha and Devon’s intimate family with just their closest family and friends. It’s both modern and rustic, which makes for an amazing backdrop. Samantha and Devon’s wedding mirrored the intentional people they are. From the form fitting gown, to the classy, black bridesmaid’s dresses, to the timeless florals (compliments of Lynn Doyle Flowers) to the entirely authentic reactions, it’s no surprise this wedding is ALSO one of our very favorites!
The weather was questionable throughout the entire day, but it held out long enough for all of the formal portraits and the ceremony. Acre is absolutely stunning in all seasons of the year, with or without sun.
Both Samantha and Devon have always been beyond supportive of John and I. They are both so extremely creative (whether they’ll admit it or not) and they light up the room when they walk in. They are so quick to compliment good work, and they put their heart and souls into all that they do. Recently, we noticed a sweet status Samantha posted about Devon (one of many.) Both of these sweet souls are always saying how grateful they are for one another. John and I feel thankful to have one of our couples whose marriage we look up to.
Sam and Devon, we wish only good things for you guys, always. You are one powerhouse couple, and we feel thankful to call you guys our friends!
