I wasn’t sure how to begin Jeanie and Steven’s post. I have so many wonderful things to say about BOTH of them, so I guess I better just start.
I’ve known ‘of’ Jeanie since elementary school. She has always been everyone’s favorite, I mean everyone. (Side note: if you don’t just ‘LOVE’ Jeanie, you may want to go be psychologically evaluated, because you have some deep dark issues, she’s that adorable.) I’m a year older than her, and we went to different high schools, but I still knew her, and have always heard the best things about her. She totally checks out, by the way. When Jeanie messaged ME about shooting her June wedding, I about hit the floor. I was thrilled. When we first sat down to discuss wedding details, everything I’ve ever ‘heard’ about Jeanie was confirmed.
1. Jeanie is flawless, I mean she’s definitely a head turner, but she’s so much more.
2. Jeanie is so incredibly passionate about everything she does. She is very aware, very intelligent, very VERY generous, and has a heart of pure gold.
3. She is head over heels over Steven, her fiancé, and he is the same with her.
I met Steven, officially for the first time the day I sat down with Jeanie. I was only there with them for a second, (and have been around them a few times since) but sparks flew. These two have an other worldly connection, like no other. It was almost like when you hold two magnets together, they were inseparable, and I love that about them.
Jeanie wanted to meet up once again to discuss her vision for their engagement session. Once again, I noticed how amazingly passionate she was about her ideas, not to mention how she included Steven’s requests, which-let’s be honest, most brides do not. I was more than happy to sit and listen to what she was envisioning. I love when other people ‘nerd out’ over photos, it makes me feel like I’m not alone.
Steven and Jeanie, you guys are so perfect together. Today I read this, and I couldn’t help but apply it to the love that you two have for each other:
“According to Greek Mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate beings, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.” You guys are each other’s perfect match, or ‘other half.’ That’s for sure, hold onto that!
We started at one end of the city, and ended at the other, Flying Saucer to be exact, only the best place in Memphis. Generous Jeanie and Steven insisted on paying for our meals, despite our fiasco with our waitress, I’m sure this doesn’t surprise anyone who knows J&S.
It was a fun adventure -filled day, and we hope you enjoy it!
Dawn Hutchison - great pictures, what a beautiful couple
Renato Cavani - Admirable Art and love!
Best of wishes to you Jeanie and Steven!
Always!
