Hope and Jamie’s Cedar Hall wedding will make you say “OH MY STARS!” Truly.

Hope and Jamie actually got married last July, but it feels like yesterday. Memphis is about as hot as it gets in July, but Hope and Jamie never complained once. These two truly had their eye on the goal of a wonderful marriage (and the wedding was just a bonus!)

Hope and Jamie got ready at Bellevue Baptist Church, which is actually where their ceremony was held, but we then traveled to Cedar Hall for all of the portraits. Hope’s sweet bridesmaids stood around her to help her get ready in Cedar Hall’s stunning bridal suite. What’s to say about this lovely venue I haven’t said 1,000 times before? It’s timeless, elegant, and one of the most charming Historic homes in Tennessee. It has tons of character just like Hope and Jamie. It’s so clearly evident why they fell in love with it. We shoot there frequently, and we fall in love all over again each time we get there.

Hope and Jamie were 100% on board with a first look, which made us absolutely ecstatic. Cedar Hall has so many gorgeous locations, Hope and Jamie were able to take advantage of all of them. Doing a first look before the ceremony allowed Hope and Jamie to be able to enjoy their full reception. They also got to spend the entire wedding day together, instead of having to stay in separate quarters. They got to take their time and just enjoy their most special day. For those of you future couples who are on the fence about a first look, trust us, it’s worth it. Hope’s gorgeous dress and dreamy veil were both from Maggie Louise Bridal. Every bride we’ve ever had that purchases their gown from Maggie Louise just raves about them. We highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already. Hope’s makeup was so timeless, yet made a statement, and it was done by Ashley Parsons. The stunning florals were designed by L and Jay Productions.

Both Hope and Jamie’s sweet families were an absolute joy to spend the day with. It was truly wonderful to see the love and support their families provided them on their most special day. It’s evident where Hope and Jamie get their loving, generous personalities from. We know their families are so proud of the wonderful people they’ve become.

Hope and Jamie, thank you so much for giving us the complete honor of capturing your wedding day. We will cherish these sweet memories forever!

Haley and Patrick’s engagement session at Annesdale Mansion will freaking blow your socks off.

You may know (because I’m as obnoxious as they come) that I am a middle child. Biologically, I have an older sister and a younger brother who are both much cooler than I am. What you may not have know is that I have a WHOLE separate family named “The Williams.” I have another mom named Toni, from Spring Creek Ranch, I have TWO other sisters named Haley (as pictured) and Kelsey. I have another brother named Dane, and an additional niece named GK. Needless to say, John and I have lots of family that make us feel so very loved.

Haley and Patrick are so special to us. Yes, I consider Haley my sister, but I truly believe we would have been friends even in another life. We have so much in common.  Our love for rosè, rose gold, all things sparkly, we’re both dog lovers, and Taylor Swift….. I mean, do I even need to go on?

We were lucky enough to be able to capture when Patrick proposed to Haley at Spring Creek Ranch. She of course said “YASSSSSS.” It was a complete surprise for Haley, and SO much fun for us.

Haley and Patrick got their engagement photos done at Annesdale Mansion and Railgaten. It was a complete depiction of Haley and Patrick as a couple. Absolutely timeless and classy while still remaining casual and fun. These guys are getting married this May at Spring Creek Ranch. We are so excited to be included in her all-star lineup that includes: Maggie Louise, Lynn Doyle Flowers, Kasey Acuff Makeup ArtistEmily Cohen Hair, Message in a Bottle, Kipp Cakes, and Hot Shots Photo Booth.

Haley works for everyone’s favorite, Lynn Dolye Flowers, and Patrick is a selfless Platoon Leader for the National Guard. Honestly, both Haley and Patrick are genuine, selfless leaders. I haven’t met Patrick’s parents yet, but if you know Toni, Haley’s mom, you know she had no chance but to be a natural born leader.

We feel SO thankful Haley and Patrick chose us to capture this most special time in their lives, and we cannot wait for May. We love you guys!

As if Annesdale Mansion could be any more dreamy, just add Katie and Craig. It would be absolutely impossible to have forgotten the babest of all the babes, Katie and Craig. Remember their warm and sunny engagement session?

We had far too much fun with these guys and absolutely couldn’t wait for their wedding that happened this past May at Annesdale Mansion. The day before Katie and Craig’s wedding, Memphis encountered a pretty nasty storm. 100+ year old trees were horizontal blocking main intersections and a lot of Memphis was without power for days. By the Grace of God himself, Annesdale had power. The wonderful staff there was so quick and helpful with picking up the few limbs that had fallen. It was nothing short of a miracle!

We had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Katherine Benson of Bella Baxter Wedding and Events. Katherine is an actual goddess at what she does. Because of her, Katie and Craig’s wedding went off without a hitch. We cannot recommend her enough. Katie had quite the all star vendor lineup that we feel so honored to have been included in. Kasey Acuff did Katie’s makeup, and Katie looked so timeless and regal. Allison Becksfort absolutely slayed Katie’s loose romantic curl request. Katie swooned Craig (and literally everyone else) in her Pnina Tornai gown. She purchased her gorgeous dress from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. Holliday Flowers did an incredible job on Katie and Craig’s florals. From the stunning chuppah, to the bouquets and boutonnieres, all of K+C’s guests were absolutely in awe of it all.

Katie’s bridesmaids wore a pale pink chiffon gown that was so perfect for a May wedding. Paired with their blush florals, the bridal party looked impeccable. The tallis (or shaw) that was used during Katie and Craig’s ceremony was Craig’s grandfathers, and extremely sentimental to him. We loved how intentional both Katie and Craig were with their wedding priorities. Katie and Craig’s reception was at The Peabody here in Memphis in the Continental and Louis IXV room. The Peabody is actually where Katie’s grandparents were married. These newlyweds had a champagne tower that made such a statement, and one of the best bands we’ve ever heard. Atlanta Rhythm and Groove did not disappoint. At one point, they grabbed the happy couple and their bridal party on stage, and everyone was beyond entertained. Katie and Craig hired The Film Poets as their videographer, and it was an honor to work alongside such talented individuals.

Throughout the years, we’ve noticed on wedding days, some couples to spend a lot of time together. We realize the day has a lot of moving parts, and sometimes their is so much going on our couples can’t enjoy themselves together. This was NOT the case with Katie and Craig. They were full smiles ALL day, and never left each other’s sides. I feel like their strong knit families gave them such good loving examples, that K + C would know no other way to be. They speak kindly to one another, they’re affectionate and intentional with their decisions, and they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. It’s just completely natural between these lovebirds, which is how it should be.

Since Katie and Craig’s wedding, John and I have absolutely loved following along on ALL of their adventures. Katie and Craig moved all the way across the country right after their wedding, and are always off doing the most incredible things together. Whether it’s trying a new fun restaurant, or taking a long hike, we feel like we are Katie and Craig’s biggest cheerleaders, and we forever will be!

Katie and Craig, THANK YOU so much for allowing us this honor. We hope you guys enjoying reliving this most precious day!
