We’ve been excited about this blog post since the second we heard from Liz.
A bit of a back story. Before Liz got engaged, she was kind enough to purchase some of my Etsy artwork. More than once. I remembered seeing her name in my inbox before she inquired about potentially shooting her wedding. Imagine our excitement when she told us she was engaged and wanted to hire US despite the fact we lived in San Francisco. We’re so glad she did.
Fast forward to this June, we were finally able to meet both Liz, Clint, and TUCKER! I’ll be honest, he stole the show a bit. Rightfully so, just look at that face.
Liz and Clint are the poster children for “What to wear to your engagement session.” They looked absolutely adorable. They had one casual-ish outfit, and one dressy outfit. Also, I’m sure by the end of this post you’ll be wondering who did Liz’ amazing makeup, no need to ask, because you probably already know, Queen Kasey Acuff, that’s who. Liz and Clint were so worried they would be awkward in front of the camera, but they really REALLY weren’t. They are both so natural together, their love and connection is easy. Liz is the girl next door and Clint is everyone’s best friend.
I asked them how they met, and I loved their story:
The first time these two ever met in person, was in the fall at a Mexican restaurant. (I knew we loved them, haha!) Liz was with a friend about to head to a concert, and Clint happened to be with friends at the same restaurant. Somehow Liz’s friends knew Clint’s friends, so they all sat down together. Fast forward to Spring, Liz and Clint started hanging out. Then Clint had to move to Tupelo, Mississippi for a job. A year later, he moved back to Memphis. I have a feeling sweet Liz had something to do with that relocation. I’m glad she did because Clint proposed on Christmas in front of all of Liz’s family.
The rest is history.
Liz and Clint are getting married THIS August. We’re SO excited that they asked us to capture their day for them.
